Emily Hoegberg, LMFT
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Emily is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in treatment for adolescents and adults (ages 13+). She has experience in working with diverse backgrounds and cultures with a wide array of presenting issues. She has worked in residential and outpatient treatment settings providing individual, family and group therapy along with parent education.
Emily enters into new therapeutic relationships with a client-centered, strength-based and solution-focused perspective believing that each teen, adult and family has the resiliency and innate ability to manage and overcome the challenges they are faced with.
She loves the opportunity to bring that out in her clients and watch as they learn, progress and grow. Emily sees great value in both individual and family growth conjointly, and combines that with an eclectic theoretical orientation and style. She often has the calming aid of her sidekick Hunter, an adorable Beagle, to help make the therapy process that much more comforting.
